A Place for Mom Integration Usage

Modified on Wed, Mar 26 at 1:23 PM

Overview

In this article, we will review the APFM integration. To get started, send us an email and provide a list of the communities you would like to use with A Place for Mom and anything else you think we need to know. In order to use A Place for Mom, you must be an existing A Place for Mom member.

Plugins

All integrations require an Aline team member to complete setup of the Plugins.  Please reach out to your Aline Client Success Manger or Integrations Team at integrations.support@alineops.com for further assistance.

Received Fields

These are the fields that APFM will send to us when a lead enters into the CRM.

  • Community Name
  • Individual Type
  • Primary Contact First Name
  • Primary Contact Last Name
  • Primary Contact Home Phone
  • Primary Contact Mobile Phone
  • Primary Contact Work Phone
  • Primary Contact Email
  • Prospect First Name
  • Prospect Last Name
  • Notes: Conversation notes from APFM rep.

Pushed Fields

These are the fields that we will push back to APFM when the fields are updated.

  • Lead Score = "Lost" or "Unqualified" and Date
  • Comment/Note is included from the specific sales stage activity.

Usage

Process Logic

  • APFM does a test push first to locate if a duplicate already exists based on Matching Phone or Email.  New referrals that have a duplicate found will be auto-rejected and no update will be added to the CRM.
    • NOTE - This is optional on APFM side. They offer incentives to eliminate duplicate checks and send all leads.
  • New leads are created via the APFM API user and will appear on CRM dashboard.
    • Client should continue to receive emailed copies of each lead sent
  • Updates may be pushed from APFM and merge into the existing profile.
  • Enquire SL merge logic is used and will merge on prior record based on matching Phone or Email.
  • Integration ID must be attached to the record for Aline>APFM notifications to be sent (Not currently visible in the UI). Manually created records & linked records will not trigger push to APFM

When a new lead is pushed to the CRM, it will be displayed on the dashboard like in the example below.

From the dashboard, the lead can be assigned to the user or the profile can be viewed by clicking the two blue buttons "View" or "Assign to Me".

A Place for Mom will send a referral activity to the leads profile to start the sale stage.

If the lead is pushed again to the CRM, the referral activity will show on the leads profile, but the lead will not show on the dashboard again.
